IBUPROFEN [1st line] Adult 200 to 400 mg up to three times a day as required, with or after food. Leave at least four hours between doses and never exceed 1200 mg in any 24 hours. Caution Oral NSAIDs aim to relieve pain in the active inflammatory phase; they do not reverse established fibrous plaque curvature.
